A Hahn Turbo kit for a stock 2.0L Neon would run $4400 bucks. That includes everything I need to hook it up and get it going. It only puts out 6-8 psi so it'll work fine on a stock motor, no bottom end mods needed. It's suppose to give 90-100 extra HP. Sounds good to me. Guess I'll just work on getting other mods worked out like swap bars, LSD diff(I know ya'll think I don't need it but I WANT it, ok.) and a Stage 3 clutch good to 300 HP, that way I'll be ready for the turbo when I can get the money together.
Still think it'd have been easier to get a VW Bug and mod it. I can build a 2332cc motor in a bug with 48 IDA Webers and all the "bells and whistles" for about $5500 but I've got a Neon so I've got to think about getting it running with the "Big Boys" at the local 1/8th mile.

 

Also, that's 9.5's in the 1/8th mile, not the 1/4. My nephew's Nova with a 454cid and a 250 shot of NoS runs 5.70's at 135 in the 1/8th, now that's a hoss of a ride right there.

 

Even with a hahn turbo adding 100 HP to your 2.0 by the way, that makes 232 at the crank. a SRT make from 215 to 250 (2005 motor)

the SRT4 motor will be the better choice, hands down, it's made for the strain of a turbo. your stock head would go out even with a 6-8PSI boost

6.80's would be really sweet in the 1/8th. The Bug I was thinking about building would probably be in the high 7's to mid 8's. I just wnat to kick that Mustangs *** so bad and I don't know why. I just think it'd be funny for a 4cyl to beat him.
At a later date I'd like to buy an SRT-4 so there's no need in turning the car I have now into one, especially since my grandson might end up with in in a couple years when he turns 16 and gets his Drivers lic. Don't want him going too fast, LOL. Especially since I remember what a speed demon I was at that age.

 

That neon does 6.79 in the 1/8 and upper 9s in the 1/4

EDIT: that was a SRT4 by the way. modded yes, but it can handle it the 2.0 cant. trust me
