you have to go to autozone or somewhere like that and get a special bit. I think its a torx 55...i can't remember though. You just pop the bottom cushion off and then unscrew the bolts. Then lift that up and then gently pull the carpet up. Then you are right there at the speakers.

Hm, I lifted the back carpet off the rear dash then unscrewed the speakers and cut the wires. Then I went and sodered the wires to the pioneers and screwed them in place and pushed the carpet back down over top of the dash. It was easy, quick and needed no tools...??

Yeah like he last guy said you don't need to do the extra work to put new speakers in your rear deck just pull up the cover remove the old speakers and put in the new one's, just save yourself the trouble and get the wire harness so your not cutting **** up and if you sell the car you can take your **** out an put the stock crap back in. If you go to replace the front speakers there 6 1/2 and in order to get the panel of depending on it you have poer or manuel windows it varies, if you have power windows just pop all the clips and disconnect the harness for the powerwindows and locks, if you have manuel windows the is a horse shoe clip on the inside of the crank you will have to pop in order to get the window crank off and from there is self explanitory, pop the clips and replace the speaker.

Yes to replace the front speakers you have to remove the whole door panel. I believe there are 3 screws, the rest is plastic clips that hold the door panel on. I think you might have to remove the triangle peice by the mirror also. You will have to un hook the rods for the door latch, lock.
