QUICK QUESTION......
can i wire fog lights directly to my headlights??? i dont want another switch in my car and i want them to come on with the headlights..... the wires are right thier so it would be quick and easy, but would it be a drain on the headlights?????
It'd be better to wire em' seperate. You don't want to put any more amps on the headlight fuze then it already has. Just find an empty spot on your fuze box and hook up there with a switch, it's not all that hard and you can run a seperate fuze for the fog lights.

Relays STSP (single throw, single pole) 4 post. I will get a description up later. but one goes from the batt to the relay, then another to the headlights, then one to the positive on the fogs and the neg to a ground, and one relay pole to a ground
this will NOT drain power from the headlights, no switch required. when the headlights come on it trips the switch and feeds power from the batt to the fogs.
EDIT: you will have to wire in a fuse before the relay. take the wattage of the lights, times it by 2 divide by 12 to get your amp number for a fuse

my multi switch suxs..... no fog option...
^^^ wow i gunna do that.... for now i just did it, my right headlight plastic broke so it has clear tape (yeah its ghetto as f**k) for now, doesnt seem to make a diffrence.... well see when i go for a drive in a bit.
oh, instead of putting it into the head light i put it in the parking lamp... just as bright as stright power and if it blows the fuse, just my running lights will die not my headlights...

if the fuse blows for the fogs the headlights wont be affected
the fuse for the headlights will not blow.
Like I said. 4 posts
one goes to the positive on the fogs and the negative on the fogs goes to a ground
one post gets power from the batt + and needs a fuse in the line before the relay
another post goes to another ground
one post, run a wire from either your parking lights or headlights positive
you need only one relay for both fogs.
my understanding on this is, you have one circuit from the batt going through the relay. and the positive from the switched circuit you're tapping into (running/parking lights or headlights only trigger the switch in the relay powering the fog through the positive and grounds (completeing the 2nd circuit)
the fuse for the headlights will not blow.
