What's the best percentage of window tint for neon? Im looking at 20-22% tint. Don't want too dark of a tint and get pulled over. Just wanted to get your guys opinion. Thanks.

Well in a utopia where this is no tint laws, limo would look fantastic. BUT, your right, you'd get pulled over sooner or late. Even if you got pulled over for something else, they'd defiantly bag you for it in addition. I think 35% tint is your SAFEST bet, it'd darker than legal in most states, yet you may get away with it. I'm not sure what your laws are for your state, but usually 35% is illegal, may not be though in your state since its hot down there. You live in Texas right? Again, 35% is something you can get away with and will look good, but limo tint would look the best if you don't mind gambling on it lol.

I live in michigan and the law states that the rear glass and windows can have any tint on them. The front glass can't have any tint at all. Also no reflective tint.The front windows must have 4% visibility? How that heck do they measure for visibilty??????

 

u mean 4" visor...meaning u can only have a 4" strip of tint going acroos the top of the front windshield

 

Ah, makes sense. Saw that on the State of Michigan website. More confusing than an algebra equation. You should see that laws on interior and exterior lighting. Basically, its ok if a cop doesn't see it. lol
