Having a few problems.. need help.. PLEASE
Hello there all you Neon owners.. I'm in a little jam here.. Here's the story, I was driving Saturday night and all of a sudden the car just had no power to the engine... almost like it was kicked out of gear, I felt a little from loosing power.. (check engine light went on at the exact same moment). Checked the codes and got these: P0304 which is, Vaccuum leak found (IAC fully seated) MAP sensor signal does not correlate to throttle position. P0340 which is, No Cam signal at PCM. No fuel sync.. the last code is the ever so popular P1684 for the battery. After doing some research I found that the first two seem like they may just be the sensors and I am confident that I can change them myself. (I'm pretty good with my car and fix most things on my own). Now here's the next problem... I killed the battery waiting for the tow truck.. got the car back to my place.. tried to jump it.. and nothing.
Now right off the bat.. the fact that the battery won't accept a charge says that the battery is bad... fine I can accept that.. The fact that the car just turned off mid-traveling but then I could listen to the radio and have the car on tells me that the battery wasn't bad when the car broke down..
Here's the main question.. If I fix these sensors and get a new battery, what are the chances of everything working normal again? Has anybody ever had a similar situation? Could the MAP sensor be okay and the connections just be corroded?? I haven't had a chance to take a look at the car in the daylight. I am not off until Wednesday and Thursday when I am preparing to fix the situation.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, really.

RE: Having a few problems.. need help.. PLEASE
Thanks to all of you who responded.. Got some juice back in the battery.. apparently the battery isn't totally shot.. still getting that P0340 code.. so I'm about to go out and try cleaning everything.. the battery connections were so corroded that it wouldn't take a jump start! Anyway.. just wanted to say thanks to all of you.
