ok so the car belongs to my brother and his wife and its a 2000 neon, and lately with it being cold outside they have been having trouble using there keys to start it,we have tried de-icer and even pb penatrating and nothing would help it, sometimeshe would have to sit in the car for 20-30 mins just shaking the keyand heating it up just to get it started sometimes.so today my brother decides he wants to destroy it by using a screwdriver to the ignition and taking it out that way, now he has run into the problem where the car won't turn or because of the immobilizer that the car has. what are the was to just bypass it so he can get it up and running just till tomorrow when he goes and gets a new igition cylinder? he really doesn't want the factory alarm system and he really doesn't want the immobilizer either, i am not to familiar with the neon wiring i only deal with audi and vw electrial and when i want to bypass or not even have the alarm anymore i just use the a wire and jump the starter relay and power, can this still be done on these cars.?
