every once in awhile my car like to make a loud back-fire..... anyone know what it could be... i have iridium plugs in and they have about 30k +/- on them..... could that be it or maybe somethin else?
actually when i had a fart can on it (the girl that owned it before me put it on.....dont ask) it would backfire every so often and one time my friend was behind me and he said a flame did shoot out... but i know i have a cat so idk.....
my car does that too sometimes. Its only when I rev my engine or whatever. If I see a car thats sweet I do it. And I did it and it backfired every time I hit the gas pedal when the clutch was in. Its not a big deal right? Just a bad mix of air and fuel...correct?

sorry for being not cool... car's can back fire for many reasons. You have not explained any type of condition that this occurs under. Therefore i do not have the information needed to even make an educated guess.
well when i put the clutch in and rev the car when i rev it it will occassionally backfire... happens when i rev-match when i down shift.... does that help....?
