Saturn Muffler on Neon
Firstly, it's a Pacesetter... yup - you get what you pay for.
I had the cat-back system on my 96 SaturnSC2, then blew the head-gasket, broke the crankshaft, and wore the gearings. A couple bad days of over-heating. Since the pacesetter system is just held together by u-clamps, and nobody but me would beef-up a Saturn, I'm just going to hack the muffler offfrom the system and put it on my 2000 Neon.
It has 2 1/4 inch tubing, since I have the 2000 Neon, does it have 2" or 2 1/4" stock tubes?
If it's 2 1/4, it sould simply weld right on, right?

I think I will have to cut a hole in the rear bumper, butI don't want to make it look bad.
I have the feeling any hole I make would be a square.
easy cuttingideas?
