NeonOn19s Project thread
Thanks man...
I still have a lot of work before my first show... There is one at the end of this month, but I highly doubt I will get done before that.. So I have until the 18th of June to get things rolling.
- I need to extend my wires off the injectors maybe tonight to route the cable bundle under the intake manifold.
- Need to connect the coolinat lines off the turbo tonight into the heater lines.
- Raise my passenger coilover ride height so the tires don't rub.
- Give the entire engine bay a full cleaning.
I looking into a manual boost controller too... Looking into the Hallman Pro series... That should set me back a bill or two, but it will be worth it. I can get my car to 8-9 lbs this year...

Well we were able to get some progress done on the car. I was able to tie into the O2 sensor for my A/F meter, Isa'kee was nice enought to bring the top dash over for a test fit, and he did a little adjustments.
Matt took my cold side to sandblast it so I can spray it down with flat black. I went to install it again and then mounted my lights to see how they look.

Then started it up and rolled it out to see the light output on the road. WOW LSP you were right some great output...

And I tried to get a better look with the lights on in the garage.. not the best pic..

I talked to Matt and I might have the car back at my garage tomorrow. Then I can finish up the wiring and start cleaning up the car.

Well Some good news today. Matt gave me a call seeing when the car could be dropped off. Luckly I was heading from one office to another and stopped by the house to park the car back in its home. Now I can finish up the interior and clean her up.

So I will be messing with wires tonight for a bit. Can't wait

Well Today was a good day.
I finished up the wiring on the Narrow-band, boost gauge and the Turbo timer. If was more of a bitch on the turbo timer. I was able to tie it in to the proper wires, but I think I bought a bad Turbo timer from a member on the SRTFourms a while back.. No worries, I'm lookin at the GReddy Turbo Timer II for the replacement.
I still have a few things that I still need to mess with on the interior but so far so good.

I also adjusted the passenger side coilover to give it more height. Its been rubbing really bad. So we will see how it goes. I took it for a spin in the neighbor hood. It was nice to drive again.
I haven't put the bumpers on until I give her a bath and really detail her out. I hope to get it all done here soon.

thanks man i saw a 01 neon full body kits but caught on fire from the doors up so i am going to the junk yard probably where they put it tomorrow and see if i can strip it for the kit or see what he got under the hood
Well yesterday was a beautiful day out, so I decided to wash the car down. I still need to clay bar and wax, but I will mess with that this long weekend. So onto the pics.
After re-mounting the bumpers...

I think I might take some black paint to the mesh on the front. The silver is bothering me a bit. what do you all think???

The headlights don't look too bad.. My car looks supprised now,, I think I need some eyelids now.. The bad thing is I don't have any more of my color paint to color match... I guess I will have to look into a color that is close...
So tonight is the interior cleaning, and maybe start on the clay bar steps... we will see. I have no plans this weekend other than install a doggie door in the back.
