Need help. I just bought a 2005NEON SXT 50K miles. I love the car but I'm having one problem with it. I'm not getting any CEL or codes but sometimes the car sputters at low RPM. I've had the car for only a week and got 220 miles on a topped off tank. That's under 20MPG. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

mm oil change??? spark plugs???

 

change oil, replace spark plugs, air up the tires, clean air filter, and take the lead out of your shoes...

Sounds about right

I get roughly 22mpg with city driving on my ATX

 

Check the plugs, run some injector cleaner thru it and check and replace the air filter too while you're at it. Basically, do a tune up(or what little bit you can actually do to cars today) and see if that'll help. For sure get some injector cleaner in it though, especially if it's been sitting for any length of time, that'll cut the varnish off of the injectors so it'll help the car run right.
