I have an '04 neon sxt and I have a remote starter unit that I used to have on my old '89 jeep. The Jeep has recently been sold and I kept the remote starter unit. I now have to be up early in the mornings and I want the remote starter on my Neon. I know when I put it on the Jeep, it was a breeze, no problems at all. But, my Neon has 8 or 9 wires in the ignition harness, and I don't know anything about these security keys bull that are used. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to wire a remote starter up to these cars? I have all the other wiring done, I just can't single out the starter wire and the "run" wire. Any help is greatly appreciated.

first what year is it..... if it has a sentry key you will have to get a spare key to hide by the ignition..... i have to tear into my dash wiring this weekend so will take a look for ya... if i dont find it my remote start will be here on Tue. or Wed. so ill tell ya then!

 

I think it clearly states that it's an 04.... lol
