Default srt oem exhaust + lip kit = ?

I just want to double check before i actually buy it... so oem srt rear exhaust will fit the cutout on mopar's lip kit for the 2nd gen right? because i already have one hole cutout in the lip kit, and i cut it according to the template line on the inside of the lip kit... so that's the same cutout for the srt exhaust right? thanks...

No, it will not. The cut outs for the 03+ lip kits are for R/T exhausts

So you're SOL since you already cut one hole...

lol, yeah... i had a aftermarket no brand exhaust put on in my neon by the muffler shop, and it works well, but it's just that it's so quiet (probably also the reason why they could steal my car that easily in the middle of the night before), so a little sound would be nice... so i'm debating either the srt rear section or the magnaflow, of course i'm trying to save up as much for the transmission swap if possible... here's the link which i thought sounds pretty dang good...

ok, another quick question... do you think it'll work if i had the muffler work on the srt rear section to fit the r/t cutout? i mean i've seen them did amazing stuff for my single exhaust, and they had all the tube bending machines and stuff... do you guys think it's possible to get them to maybe cut the tips off and i guess either extend or shorten the tubing and then reattach the tips? My only concern is that would this affect the tone of it? since it's mod to the last few inches of the rear section? thanks guys...

I have the srt stock exhaust for now and Im going to custom fit it to my rear lip kit . Anyone or bodyshop can custom fit an rear bumper to fit your exhaust.

yeah, but would it affect the tone of it though? because i know the srt rear section doesn't have a chamber like most other muffler, so would cutting and either shortening or extending the ending of the pipe have an overall effect on the tone of it? i don't want driving around with my car sounding like a deflating balloon... magnaflow would end all your problems lol. I think it might affect to tone some what, not entirely sure though

true, but then i'm looking at 250+ shipping (depending if it's just the muffler or catback) vs. 60 + for pick up which is about 20 miles away + cutting and welding... so i'll say 250+ vs. maybe 110+?
Does anyone know if the cutout for the r/t is wider or narrower than the srt rear section?
