We had about 2- 2 1/2 feet and my car did fine even with bald tires, then again I never got over 35. I saw alot of yaris and prius stuck in the snow though.

mine has been nicknamed "the snowcat" by my buddies, cuz it runs like a raped ape in the snow. i have good all seasons on it with good tread, thats the ticket. my other one, with less than good tires is just horrible....... its the tires that make the difference.

Iowan here and we have had some icy weather and alot of snow here and my sxt has done better with my new pilot sports she handles really nicely in snow and ice I try not to drive in thats why we have a awesome truck for that . Frontwheel drive is nice for crappy weather.

Central Alaska here. I'm very happy with how mine handles the ice and snow. I've had it for coming up on 3 years now and I've yet to get stuck in the snow. I did have to replace a rim this year though . . . slid into the curb in a roundabout going about 15 miles per hour. My fault on that though.

Another good note. If I forget to plug it in at night, it still starts at 30 below . . . 40 below is a different story though.
