I can get the car for very, very very cheap.... The viper seats are intact and need a GOOD cleaning. Rear bumper is pristine with 3d mopar tails. Spoiler and trunk are perfect.

I would get it all for $1500.

do-able?

I figure it's going to take atleast another $1000 to get it running. I have a decent job and i've gotten all my neccessary electronics so it would be my new money pit.

CAM gear broke off so possible ****ing valve orgy correct?

yeah, or just buy it and part it out, i would take the seats, and spindles along with calipers, rotors, exc..., and a thousand, i am thinking it is going to take more than that to get her running again, intercooler, intake manifold, and (cant see if the impact messed up the exhaust side either,if so maybe turbo manifold, ext) along with radiotor support, and headlights, bumper, ect...... u have a K into it with just the things i just listed

Problem with a front end hit like that is you have no clue what contition the motor is in. You already know the cam shaft busted off. As you mentioned the valve train could be junk. Can you see the crank? Can't see all of the block or the tranny while it sits there in the car. Who knows what you may find when you pull it out.

There is potential there to be more of a headache than anything else. For $1500 you can get a working engine and tranny if you know where to shop.I say no, but its up to you anyway...

yeah...I would say no. Thats a real tough one. could work but you really can't be sure.

Graphite, you said that you could find one for 1500 if you know where to look...where else would you look besides a junkyard? lol. Or were you just saying keep looking. Just curious.

Yeah as another member on 2gn said, even thougH i could probably make most of my money back selling the rest of the parts, it is giong to be a huge nightmare.

My GF's brother was helping me out trying to kinda undertand the situation...but it does look rather hard to "break even" here.
