i'd say just take it to like autozone or somewhere like that and do the free alt testing....

i'd also have them check your battery see if it is still good...how old is the battery anyways like is it 1 or 2 years old or what... b/c i had that problem once and it was just b/c the battery wasn't holding a charge at all so i had to dish out like $70 for a new one...

that was my first thought and i replaced the battery..still died...ill probably ending up changing the alternator...first owner told me the battery in car was two months old ..i thought his battery was no good...now i have an extra battery..so iam definetly ruling out battery..lol

Have the same problem so i guess its pretty common. BUT autozone checked alternator and said its perfect and checked the battery( only said low charge) i think it has to do with the other eletrical problem in my car which is the dome light.

Change out your spark plug wires. If that doesn't work, its your coil pack. If it takes like 3 seconds to start usually or if it has a rough idle and spark plugs are good, that's what it is....either wires or coil pack. Let me know if its the coil pack, just changed a good one out with an MSD one, so I have one laying around.
