I am having tranny problems with my 2001 Neon ES 85K miles, auto.The car will not shift out of 1st gear. I still have reverse.

I was driving it in the freeway and all of the sudden it downshift on me and would not shift anymore. I have 1st and reverse no other gears. I noticed that in many cases it goes into limp mode 2nd gear, however mine is just plain stuck in 1st! I did a full tranny flush and filter summer 2006 and was going to do another one this summer since I drove around 40K miles.

All fluids are clean and levels look good. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
