anyway i got the p0132 code and i am confused as to why it only comes up when i wot the car and stuff i dont have the secound o2 hooked up and i dotn get a code for that just for the up stream but dont the secound one.
also will this cause the bogging that i am experience
a friend has a theroy that since there isnt a down stream telling the ecu everything is fine and dandy so the up stream goes crazy and doesnt know wat to do so it tells the pc to lean out or something ?

ok if i reset the ecu
the cel goes off and if the rpms arent constant like if i dont shift at 3k all the time it wont come on for a couple miles
but if i give it full gas it throws the cel code by the time i get out of 1st gear.
i also did the on off on off and only got the upstream sensor code p0132 but
what is weird is that i dont have a down stream sensor hooked up and the computer doesnt throw a code for that.
does that make more sense?

COOL imma try and get a new one but theres something else
cuz i got insuresence today and when i went driving around i got a bit mis firing and then the bogging stoped and then all of a suden the car started idle oddly
and then it started bogging so i red lined first and secound gear and it went away
also if it does bogg its at half throttle

 

when is the last time you changed your plugs?

It might be a bit overkill, but i change my plugs every 6-8,000 miles. When my 2003 was boosted i changed them every 1000 miles.

 

i havent changed them since i bout the car like 4 months ago but what getts me is that none of this happend till i got my car back from the mechanic
the car did sit out side for a while after the rack and pinion and clutch install so im thinking maybe bad gas?
also i just got another code after driveing around for a while so far its code p1468 p0132 and p0134

P0132 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0134 Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

never heard of the first one, but by the second two i can tell you your upstream is more than likely junk

If i were you, i contact the BBB ( http://welcome.bbb.org/ ) That mechanic should be reported.

 

well i went and got o2 sensors
there bosh universals for free so i hope this can hold me over for a lil while till i get another job cuz i just got fired what yall think?
