exhaust sound
She said she was going turbo so she wont lose any back pressure seeing she is going to do the srt swap sooner or later and who cares if you dont race about the back pressure anyways if you show like me doesnt matter getting a better lookin exhaust stainless steel is what im lookin for and injen has a nice setup and so does borla and magnaflow all stainless steel.
140 hp+3 inch exhaust= lack of back pressure
Made it a wee bit easier to understand
If I remember correctly 3 inch is pointless, unless your pushing 300+hp. Lack of back pressure no matter how you drive is bad for your motor.
Once again, these are my understandings, I will believe this until someone with high knowledge corrects me.

larger exhaust will make you loose back pressure...it like putting lower compression pistons in your car, the more area in the chamber, the lower the compression
there is no need on any regular neon for large exhaust....i ran 2.25" and a few feet of 2.5" on my 375whp 1st gen neon without any problems....
here was what my exhaust sounded like:
srt4 turbo..srt4 cat.. 2.5" mid pipe..srt4 rear section:

if you want a low tone then get a magnaflow

I see alot of people here saying the SRT-4 exhaust is 3" and it's not, a good majority of the aftermarket ones are though. The stock SRT-4 exhaust is 2.25" with larger polished tips and the Mopar Performance/Borla cat-back is 2.5" with even larger tips. The use of any good muffler with a stock SRT-4 rear exhaust would be just fine, but this is no different than getting a different muffler and putting it on what you already have since I believe the size is the same (I know the 1st gens. had 2.25" exhaust on the DOHC and I believe 2" on the SOHC, but I'm not certain on what the 2nd gen. neons have).

2nd gens should be the same
So, since were on the topic of exhaust notes and such
do you think that my raver v3's video camera would be good enough to post a decent vid of my exhaust and such?
idk what else i can use to record with and get it on my PC :|
i have video editing software, but i dont have a new enough camera.
ill see if my dads camera from work can record video too and i might go out with a friend to some of our back country roads to make a video or something, idk.

I'm not calling you a liar... well.... maybe i am.

ok, you made 375whp on a td04... on a 2.0l no less. Do you have any proof or maybe more info on your set-up,m or should we just believe you like airwolf
I know your motor is built an all but to make that whp you got to be running that little turbo upwards of 25psi. Possible, but at the expense of excess heat and running way out of the efficiency range of that turbo. and for the record, i would never put you in the same category as airwolf. lol
