so i was geting on the interstate yesterday pushing my little neon kind of hard and saw some white smoke and ideas

Yeah your burning coolant which causes the exhaust smoke to be a white-ish color. How many miles and what year is your Neon? Opposed to what was said above, unlike pre-99 1st Gens, the 2nd Gen Neon never had a head gasket problem.

so about how long yall thiink before i have to replace it, it does not smoke alot just when i get on it

you should replace it ASAP so u dont warp a head...white smoke 99% of the time = head gasket...dont drive the car anymore. get it done..could save u a hell of a lot of money in the long run. if u keep driving it and warp a head tack on at MINIMUM another $350 on top of what the head gasket alone would cost you.

as long as keep watch on fluid levels and temp gauge it should be fine, right
