Steering shuts off car

I noticed something weird about my car last night. When I turn the steering wheel all the way to either direction.... its shuts off.

Why would that be? I also noticed my gas pedel feels hard.

my car stalls after the wheel is turned all the way. there is also a lot of hesitation in acceleration.
