The filter comparison is basically worthless too other than general construction issues such as cardboard endcaps (actually an oil paper) because what you really need is to know is how good the filter media functions in a dynamic flow situation (Like and engine) and how good the ADB functions. Heck even Amsoil is having some problems on a few filters for drainback valves.
Want a really nice CHEAP filter in the USA get a Motorcraft FL-300 (Now you need almost 5qts of oil) at ChinaMart (AKA Walmart) and spend $3.55. If you just shop at one of the autoparts stores fine the cheap ones and look inside and see if it has a plastic (nylon) center tube if so it is a Champ E-Core which is a decent filter (SuperTech at Walmart is one now as well as STP I believe. Their are others).
I used to use the Orange Can and will no longer support that racket. Sure they make better filters too but they can get expensive to the point I'd say just get a Mobil1 or K&N.
