I feel your pain. I am just getting over a similar issue. I didn't get anything stuck in my eye (it felt like I did), but I did have what the doctor called a cornea ulcer. Which is basically an open wound on the eye. He says it was caused by my contact lenses. It was very painful for a day until I was able to make it into an eye specialist who got me on eye drops and dilated the pupil so my eye would stop adjusting all the time to light/dark and lessen the pain level. Basically all healed up a week later. Good luck.

Are you sure the metal is still in there? (doesnt look like it) if so, i'd go the the emergency room tonight. u would only possibly do more damage letting a piece of metal sit in your eye for 1 1/2 days.

However, if its not metal my theory is that, you say it was hot, then maybe it hit your eye, burned, and that black dot is just scar tissue from the quick burn/impact.

Either way, i'd go to the emergency room ASAP!!!!!

Well went to work, work sent me to a certian hospital. I went in did the normal shat got a very pretty nurse named Dawn. Then the Dr. came in andI put antibiotics and numbing eye drops in. Then he took a qtip and got the 1st peice out(yes, there was 2 peices in there...go figure)and the 2nd peice he took out with a needle. Taa daaa. I was scared about the needle cause Im a baby but, it wasnt bad at all. Or-deal is done with....

 

I'm sure I would've handled that situation better than you.

The second the doctor took the needle to my eye I would've passed out
