i was on ebay today and found a dodge neon Garrett t3 full turbo kit. any herd or bought this befor. sohc/dohc it says. Buy it now 1,000 $ free shipping. anyway check it out and let me know what the deal is,and if it would work. no an automatic.

Just looking at the picture, I don't think it will fit. if you bolt the manifold on there is no way that intake pipe is gonna reach your TB. It also does not have the upgraded injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, wastegate, or other part you will need to install it. It might be a good start, but don't expect it to be a bolt it on and watch me go fast now thing, its gonna take more work than that. Also the turbo looks small, I am not that familiar with the models, but a small turbo with no intercooler is not gonna give you what you expect, a small turbo creates a lot of heat, although it does spool faster than a big one.

Oh, I didn't read the whole thing, I just scanned it and looked at the pictures. I could be wrong, but I have a 1st gen, by the way the top picture looks if I put that on my car, the turbo would not fit at all without major changes.

 

Actually, that is a really good deal.

And it'll bolt up just fine, in fact, you don't even need the fuel pump and injectors especially if youa re only going to run low boost.

And Casper, thats how its supposed to look, the intak tube is right where it needs to be. There is another port that is facing the floor where you run piping to the intercooler and then to the throttle body.



Heres my T3/T4 Garret Airesearch Super 60, mines a little bigger than that one but is almost the same. That hole on top is where the intake tube will go to the intercooler or the throttle body.

I'd say that if you are going to go turbo then definitely pick that up its worth it and will bolt right up.

You'll eventually need to do fuel though. But for the most part about 80-90% of what you need is right there.

Casper, you can rotate the turbo housing so that it fits there are clamps on the inside between the two housing halves you just loosen the bolts and you can rotate teh whole housing.

 

how much hp do u think it will give my car. will i need to by piping or any other parts. and does it matter if i have an manual or not. thanks

 

You will need to uy the piping, wastegate, downpipe, looks like you'll need the O2 housing as well.

On 8 pounds of boost you could get about 275 to the wheels. And no, you can use the MTX.
