Default Door fuse.

I have a 2000 Neon(base) and when I start it, the area where the mileage and so-on is, it flashes FUSE then Door three times, and the rest of the time I drive it, it says door above the mileage. I checked all my fuses and replaced the ones I found blown and it still does this. Also I had to take my dome light bulb out, because it constantly stays on. Anyone have any ideas?

remove the door light switch. its held on by one screw. just tape up the wire and shove it in the hole. i did this 3 years ago to my 2000 and its fine. the light wont come on when you open the door, but you can just turn it on munualy if you need it. the other door will still work as normal.
