Default stupid ***dasnsdljknsd;jklbns;d power steering

well i have no power stering anymore....... a few days ago i noticed a little redish puddle in the snow under my car...... its cold as hell so i blew it off.......

then yesterday i start my car to warm it up.... and thier is a really bad grinding noise...... smart me drove it anyways...... long story short.. its like turning my old 98 nissan frointer on 32's.....

but i figured sence i need to replace it anyways... can i just take the power steering off??? i would free up alittle power (and god knows i need it) but i just dont know what all i would have to do if i could just do away with the PS.... anyone know???

ah my friend we are in the same place
my power steering just blew a hose or somehting cuz it just blew all the fluid out
i remember reading some where that you could get a hose fill the rack with hydro fluid and then put the hose and then it wont be power steering but it will be a hell of a lot easier to turn then wat we got now i just wish some one could verify this,
i know i hered that race car drivers convert to this so
some please verify

u can take da powersteering off, i drove about 2 weeks without my powersteering pump because the pully was broke and once my pump broke. it would free up some ponies but u probably wont notice any and ull probably notice ur arms get bigger cus ull be using them. lol. but if u do take the powersteering pump off, ull have 2 hoses just hanging around.

I've been driving without power steering for 2+ months, so unless your the weakest man alive, you shouldnt have any problems steering your 2,600lb Neon with whopping 6" wide tires.

Why dont you just remove the PS/AC belt for now? Its not like you need A/C in February...
