So I have been looking into this. I only have two questions.

1. If I used the srt-4 downpipe with the 2 resonators would it be quiet enough to actually drive around? lol.

2. Will it bolt up directly?

No sir I met this guy who had the full SRT exhaust on his wifes 05 neon. I was under the impression that it would be extremely loud, but with the resonators and rear section it sounded more like an SRT than mine ever has.

Edit: I'm sure had a cat, it would've been horribly loud if he didn't

 

I have had everything your can do to a srt exhaust . I had mine without anything and that is very loud but I love loud but some hick cops didnt so I got a fix it ticket for that so I than tried the resantors on and still got a fix it ticket from the same hick town cops . Downpipe I have been told is only meant for if you did the srt swap or hahn turbo . So I got a glasspack stainless steel one and it quieted my sxt down enough to please any cop. You can get a glasspack from 25bucks to 100bucks depends what you like.

Could I just bolt up the full srt-4 catback with the resonators to the neons downpipe?

well I know where to get a glasspack, what it will do, and I have figured to buy and install it will cost close to 60 bucks. But I got this guy selling everything from the downpipe down for 75 + shipping. I just want to make sure I'm not buying the downpipe and mid section for nothing.

 

It would be cheaper just to get the main section thats what I got and sold my resanators and downpipe from my acr for 80 bucks locally. Downpipe is not worth the money doesnt do anything you dont need it.

 

yeah, i already have a catalytic anyways lol. So yes, I don't need the downpipe but thats what the dude is sellin.
