P2305, Coil, Fuse#21
I have a 2004 Dodge Neon SXT and I am having major problems with it. It all started one morning when my car would not start. I ended up flooding my spark plugs but I did get new once to replace them with. One night it did start but was not running right. We made it about a mile down the road and she just cut off. When we would turn the key the lights, radio, power windows everything would come on and work. But she just wouldnt make a sound when you went to crank her.
But long story short here are my problems:
1.) I am getting P2305.
2.) I have gone threw 3 new coil packs. Once we puta new pack on and go to crank the car, You hear a pop and the coil cracks between 2 and 3.
3.) Fuse #21 keeps blowing. Every time you go to crank it you hear the coil crack then the fuse goes.
I am all out of ideas! It has got to be something so simple but I just dont know what would make my fuse blow and my coil pack crack like this.

I am getting fire to the coil but it's not leaving would that be the computer or does anyone knows what tells the coil to fire and to leave the coil. I know that the fire is going to the coil because that why three of them has cracked . Thanks again

All the PCM does is ground the coils to complete the circuit and charge the coil. Check the ground on the #3 pinout on the PCM.If that wiring checks out, I'd look on the spark plug side.

Took it to the shop. Confirmed it is the PCM. I don't have the money to fix it. Just wanted to let everyone know what the problem was just in case anyone comes across this in the future. Good luck!
