ok people from va, or anybody else are gauges going up the pillar ilegal , trying to find out dont wana spend the money just to get puled over!

I have some in my 1st gen neon and had some in my acr and the cops never bugged me about that just speeding in my acr srt4 and the cop saw my radar detactor and my custom gauges only the ticket for speeding. never heard of getting a ticket for gauges being illegal. Almost everyone who races or has a turbo ride has them running up their piller.

yea they arent illegal, but the only thing that i can see that maybe is illegal is if the lighting is red or blue. Because some states say that you cant use emergency colors that is visible. And if you had your window down, they could see it....

But ive never heard anybody getting pulled over, but i live in florida.....

 

yeah i don't think they can give you crap for that unless they are red and blue as said earlier. I'm in az and just no underbody neon kits, and no red and blue lights

 

Well I will test the red theory out I just installed my red led dome bulb yesterday in my sxt lets see if the cops bug me at all about it if so I will than go to my white led bulb . Oh yeah I did test out the red theory aready I have had my red neons underneath on even on the interstate accidently and never had the cops pull me over as of yet. Its illegal and who cares just as long as Im not caught.

 

yeah i talked to a cop and they said "if you see no cops run it but if you see them and run it you are asking for a ticket"

 

I just htink that cops will look at that kinda stuff, and kinda "mark u" they think because u have gauges means ur car is fast, and that is not always the case, i had mine on the piller but i did not like them there, made a pritty big blind spot, i moved them down and out of sight.......
