I still think you guys are lying about your MPG's or not calculating properly

So when you completely fill up your tanks you get 400+ miles to a full tank? Kinda hard for me to believe

yep, i had a little over 200 hundred on one tank.

Okay that's what I get reguarly depending on how hard i hammer it. About 215ish until i'm scared of pushing.

like I said, mineis probably off since it was the top half of the tank I was using . . . and Ialways top off after the knozzle stops. Wepump our own gas up here.

Same here. I fill it till it stops and it usually takes about 26 bucks with $2.85 a gallon

yea me too.. i cant imagine getting over 300 on a tank.. they say an '05 neon sxt automatic should get 36 highway but i've never gotten about 26.. and i'm not that hard on gas at all..

-My '05 SXT w/autogetsright around26 mpgmixed. On vacation it got 34 mpg overall with one part of the trip hitting 38 mpg. But like I said, overall mixed driving is usually around 26. And I'm pretty easy on the throttle. Most shifts through town are right around the2500-2750 rpm mark.

So what speed is optimal for highway traveling? I know i've asked this before. I've heard 60-65 but that feels so slow

yeah, highway i'm usually 75 or 80. Also no offense to all you people that get good gas milage, but you have to run your tank close to empty or it doesn't count
