I still think you guys are lying about your MPG's or not calculating properly

So when you completely fill up your tanks you get 400+ miles to a full tank? Kinda hard for me to believe
I calc my gas mileage after almost every fill up because is somethign is wrong I want to fix it. I usually run it till the gas light comes than fill it up. I have def ran it low a couple of times and got 380ish out of it. Normally when my gas light comes on i have about 290-320miles on my trip odo and uses around 10gal give or take a little. Almost everytime I fill up when the gas light comes on its very close to 10gal. Btw my car is a mtx. Mybuddy has an 04 sxt with a mtx and avgs 29mpg also with a mix driving.

-My vacation mileage was including averaging between 70-80 mph on I-77. I live about 25 minutes south of the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. I filled up the day before we left and did just a little bit of driving. The next morning when we headed out, I didn't refill until after we passed the Virginia Welcome Center. Then after that one the next refill was in S. Carolina about an hour outside of Myrtle Beach.

feel free to come spend a week with me whenever you like. i do about 1500-2000 miles a month due to work, so i am fairly sure of my milage. i have to keep records of everything for tax purposes. i work for myself and milage is my biggest deduction. i bought my 05 sxt with 10000 miles onnovember 2nd. iwill pass 16k before the week is done (business has been very busy).

i drove from celveland to newark to see the last regular season pats game against the giants. it was approximately 90% highway driving, mostly in the 70-75mph range, 2 adults in the car. that trip i averaged just under 37mpg. drove from cleveland to detroit to do some gambling for the night and with 3 adults i averaged 34 mpg. for my mixed driving, which mostly entails freeway to the area, then "city" as i drive through residentail areas, i get 29-31. i fill the tank up the same way each time, and keep track of each tank. there is a reason i bought a manual for my work car - i can control the amount of gas used, to an extent, via shift points.

I will HAPPILY spend a week with you!

I have an ATX with a few CELs like the Evap and downstream o2 sensor unplugged that i'm sure adds up to my loss. I'll take care of it sometime.

I get about 20 highway. But that's also going about 90. I think maybe 25 if I slow to 70 and draft behind semi trucks.
