so the other day i ran over a screw im guessing and yesterday my tire went flat so i drove it home (wasnt that far) and threw the donught on and told my parents and they took it to firestone today and this is what they charged us for it goes:

so needless to say my parents got shafted and i just noticed this but it might not be a big deal but they have my neon listed as an SE but tis an SXT... any comments? or concerns

 

dats why u never take a car to a shop like dat, my friend works at chevy and if they take a car in for a repair, if they c something needs repair they fix it and they have to charge and they get people like dat. i think one person took a car for a brake job, they ended up doing brake job, oil change, spark plugs, air filter, new tires and some other stuff. the bill ended up like 600 for a "brake job"

 

damn, but yeah my mom said if its not done by 5 F&$k them we're taking it to the damn dealership... i knew by brakes were going to hell cause i had to push the pedal alot farther than usual... and i kept hearing a squealing when driving.... and it was worse when braking... now if only i had ABS...

Technically.. if you did not tell them to do all of that stuff.. you dont have to pay.. they must notify you before they go and do any repair they think you need that you didnt ask to be done. technically you can fight that and get your money back and shaft them for the repairs. if permission wasn't given to do all that work to your car, what they did is HIGHLY illegal

 

i dunno what my parents said they can do and can't.... the bottom post was just what they recommended i wasn't there at the time... i was either at school or at work

yeah awhile back when i took my car to the dealership to get my motor mounts installed, they wanted to do the brakes so they called me and i gave them permission. You have to give them permission otherwise they really can't charge you
