Your opinion...
So after 4 months of running around to hospitals, doctors, physical therapy, orthopediac specialists, chiropractor and having multiple x-rays and an MRI done. They tell me that they still don't know what's wrong with my shoulder only that I have a tear and soft tissue damage in there. Problem is it is my right shoulder and I'm right handed...Means constent pain all day and keeps me from getting good nights of rest.
Well I just ran out of my PIT (personal injury treatment) coverage and have to still for to physical therapy for 5 more weeks before returning to the orthopediacs to have them tell me of what more to do. I call up my insurance and they tell me to call the other people's insurance to talk to them about what can be done. Well after talking to them fora bit they say that I have to pay out of pocket till the settlement or have a lean with "all" the doctors I see and then when I get healed then they will do a settlement. Other wise they can do one now but don't know how to go about reviewing the claim or how much to pay.
I'm figuring to try to settle for about $40,000 or so so that I can conitnue getting treatment and not have to worry about dealing with anymore insurance people. Do you think asking for that much is too much or is good enough? Don't feel like getting an attorney because they start costing a lot and take to much from the settlement.

Get a lawyer if your dealing with anything involving the gov't.
How did you hurt it?
My father about 3 months ago pulled a ligament pushing post cons around off the truck at the post office.
He is going to be settling for over 70 grand.
my point is get a lawyer b/c you might get more out of them in the long run.
you should get over 40 grand with a lawyer but it all depends on how you got hurt.

So I am going to be going to see an attorney tomorrow morning to see if he might want to take my case. Figured I might do that because today I am having a hard time trying otpen doors with my right arm and it's beginning to irritate me. Hoping that it goes well and he would want to take it.
Basically what hit me was the shorten sized city bus. If you want to imagine a picture, it's the small bus that takes kids that are mentally or pyshically handicaped to school.

Good luck night, off topic though, last night i was sore from work around my elbow and the muscles in that area. It was constantly hurting and it was in my left arm (left handed), well couldn't sleep at all last night. I woke up this morning and decided to skip class today. WellI put ice on it and it feels a lot better. Still al ittle sore. Try to keep ice on it maybe, not sure though.
