Default Spark plugs soaked in oil

Hi all. My daughter came home and told me her 200o Neon was stalling a lot. I told her it was about time she did a tune up. We took out the spark plugs and 2 of them were totaly and completly soaked in oil as if they were dipped in used oil. Can any one tell meif this is a total rebuild or is it a common thing with neons. I have never seen this withany car I have ever owned and thats about 15 cars.

Thanks for any help on this.

Should just be a simple replacement of the spark plug tube seals that are located inside the valve cover.

thats exactly what its gonna be..very common with neons... need new tube seals and it might be worth it to seal them with a sealant

Thanks for the reply every one. It has put my daughter's mind at ease. I just thought it was a major problem because I have never seen a motor with this set up or I just never seen this in any 4 banger I have owed.

She has a date with the mechanic on Tuesday.

And again my thanks.
