Hey Everyone I have An 2004 SOHCSXT Thats An Auto And Would Like To Make It A Manual. Was Wondering If Anybody Has DOne This Before And How Hard Would It Be. Theres An 05 DOHC In The Salvage Yard Thats Has The Stock 5 Speed Pedals And All That Still In It. I Would Like To Know What All I Would Have To Do With It. Do I Need A Manual ECU, Wirering Harness And SUch. Would The DOHC Tranny Fit My SOHC. I Mean I Held Off An Supercharged Truck Awhile Ago Until I Hit About 70 Then He Flew Right By Me. If I Had A Manual I Think I Wouldve Got Him All The Way. I Think It Was The SS Tahoe Or Something. But Could You Guys Please Help Me Out. Thanks So Much.

There are no 2005 DOHCs... The last DOHC, non SRT-4, was made in 1999. Also for manual swap info, use the search button... its been talked about too many times on this site already. I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for.

non turbo neons, manual or std will not out run a Tahoe... even on the downhill... just something you have to accept
