I just bought a 2003 neon, the CEL keeps coming on with code p0344. Ive replaced the cam sensor twice in 50 miles cleared the codes with my reader but it keeps coming back. The car runs and idles fine with no apparent miss. Does anyone have any idea what else to look at to keep the code from coming back?

 

Check wires between cam sensor and PCM, also check battery condition - apparently a weak battery may cause this code, and as I found out, so will a badly corroded or loose battery terminal.
