on the back side of the drum theres that little rubber grommet that i need to take of to get at the adjusting screw
but what direction do i turn it, i am working on the car in the morning and would like to know by then thanks in advance

 

any pics? been down there so i may be able to tell ya if i knno exactly what ur talkin about, if its the little cap on the brake lines to bleed the brakes then just pull it

 

take out the gromett. i dont know what way to turn it. i know that one side is opposite of the other. you need to insert a flatblade in there and ratchet the knurled thingie up and down.what i do is raise the back of the vehicle so that i can spin the tire by hand and i tighten up the brake adjusters until i get just a lil bit of bite, then i back it off just a tad.

those are for disk brakes.. I'm not sure if it's the same. but mostlikely it is... same directions

 

ya the way i did was use a flathead screwdriver and insert it into a little whole in the drum....make sure it cranks downward and it should tighten it up...keep checking the e brake lever to check on the height u want it
