well, i got my rebuild and after getting some stuff done around my house i am going to start the rebuild, i have never done one but i have a friend to help me if i have questions, but wish me luck and i will keep u all posted.... maybe by the end of the week i will have my turbo back on my car

 

So what exactly are you doing?? Rebuilding the bottom end of your engine. Either way BEST LUCK! And you BETTER come to my house wehn you get your **** together for one of my meets. Hopefully in April Ill be doing my surprises Ive got in store... Best luck tho mayne.

lol, yeah...... unfortunatly the bottom end is going to have to wait... i get a credit card for the bottom end, and after the bs i have already went threw, and thinking about it i am going to wait for cash in hand to get the bottom end built.... NEXT YEAR FOR SURE!!!!!!! but i have had some problems today, for some reason my hot side of the turbo will not disconect from the oil side.... but the cold side is all torn down.... but i am at a stand still till i can get the hot side off becasue that makes is to i can rebuild it[8D]

for some reason i can not clock the hot side, i dont know if there is something wrong with one of the bushings inside not alowin them to be clocked, or what the deal is.... but the strange thing is that the turbine is not coming out and it should, so something is catching... and it is drivin me nuts.... LOL, wish me luck and if any of u know a few tips to get this apart it would be great.....

 

the funny thing is the turbine still spins though..... but NO in and out play what so ever.... just some side to side..... so what ever is catching is not affecting the turbine... just removal of the turbine[:@]

Well i found out why the hot side would not turn...... i know my car was not getting enough fuel this year... but i am positive now that the owners before me was getting to much!!!.... i could not clock it because of the MASSIVE amount of carbon build up in the hot side housing, but a friend of mine that has done alot of turbo work on big trucks stopped by my work and gave me a hand... the turbo is torn down and apart..... i am hoping later tonight i will finish the rebuid and maybe get the manifold mounted back on the car...., and turbo tomorrow
