Default Flywheel question

I was thinking of getting a new flywheel for my 2000 Dodge Neon ES to upgrade my performance (mainly rpm levels). Modern Performance has one but it says it is like from 1995-1999 Neons. Upgraded flywheels make your rpm levels accelerate and drop quicker right?

Is it even worth it?

a lighter flywheel allows for faster spooling of the engine, yes. it can free up some horsepower, but I think it's probably a later-stage mod.

Its a good upgrade, but as a beginning mod, the price to result factor is not that good. If I remember right the flywheel is around $300-$400.

yeah definatly a later stage mod.. not the first thing on a list..... I would only do it if i was boosting it, or rebuilding the bottom half
