I agree with you, I like the stangs, especially the cobra's or stangs with the v-8s, not the 6 packers. But I do still like the SRT-4's, they are fun to mod around with and you can really suprise other racers with it. I still like them no matter what.

 

My first car was a '66 Mustang. They've been around for what seems like forever. That being said, with gas hitting $3.19/9 a gallon here today I'd much rather have the SRT-4. No way I could feed a V-8 anymore. As far as hooking up with an SRT I think if you get the proper suppension under it and an LSD you'll hook just fine. You've got all the weight over the wheels to help give you the extra traction.

 

All the weight up front doesn't really help b/c of the weight transfer. Good mounts will help a lot.

 

I'd rather have a Trans Am WS6 over any Mustang. SRT-4's are neat, buddy of mine has one and its a fun little machine.
