lol get an SRT midpipe if u dont wanna hack ur midpipe up..... it will sound just like an SRT4, wont be as loud though... and it will be street legal if you have the SRT4 Rear Section on there

 

Is that setup street legal? I always figured if I got pulled over, I'd just say it was from the factory.

Mat it has to be, it is a stock setup on the srt so put it on a smaller engine neon should be fine. I have this setup and haven't got crap from my friend's dad, a cop and the two cops that live across the street from me.

Any glasspack is the only way to tame your srt exhaust down . I got a ticket it 2 times 1st without anything and 2nd time with everything on it and now I have had a glasspack on for 2yrs and no cops ever bug me for that they just like to follow me for the fun it .

 

Do you remember the inlet and outlet size of the glasspack you used for yours? I'm def gonna be adding one in there, hopefully that will make em happy! lol

 

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!!!!! WRONGGGG! the rear section may be the same as a stock SRT-4 but the midpipe is not... the midpipe on an SRT-4 has TWO RESONATORS which help quiet the sound down and make it street legal... i know for a fact that in NJ, NY, and PA you need either a muffler or some type of resonator somewhere in the exhaust line for the exhaust to be street legal.... and thats about all i have to say about that

 

I have the 2 resanators in my midpipe, only change is I had a piece of flex pipe welded in.
