ya well thanks to lone wolf i found a turbo for my littel sxt and will prob be buying it in the next few months and putting it on.... be one of my first upgrades to the car
What did you find and what size is it?

Why? Actually an engine and trans for $2K is a bit expensive especially if its used. YOu can buy an R/T engine for about $800 from a junkyard.

Anyway, I'd look at Hahns Racecraft and Chill Factory for turbos.

this was for an srt-4 engine squee, I don't really know much about 'em, but I'd think they'd run higher than that.

I've seen lot's of NA cars with Turbo's slapped onto them..... and lots of BHG's... my advice: whatever you do don't boost over 6 or 7 psi without some serious internal reinforcement. Remember, NA compression ratio's are higher than normally Turbo'd motors. Once you go over that amount, you need fuel and air management coupled with your internal reinforcments. Usually though, you should get pistons that would lower your compression ratio therby reducing risk.
