Some cf hoods and trunks fade is you have it in the sun to long or not put protective stuff on it . They sell some stuff just for that fading and cracking for cf stuff. I would get it if I was you for that decent of price . I was going to get the vis invador hood meet someone just like you and he sold to underneath me to someone else local. I love vis hoods and trunks you should get a cf trunk sometime also. That hood will look awesome with your xenon kit and halos and your new rims.

 

if its a vis hood then i have a suggestion. my friend went through one hood from them because of fading. his secont hood, he shot a couple of coats of clear over the top and no fading yet. i think vis hoods need this due to maybe a poor quality gel coat. just my 2 cents

 

I guess I wouldn't mind gettin it clearcoated.
Since the hood is for an SRT-4, do you think that gap between the hood and bumper would be too noticable? That's another concern I have.[sm=confused06.gif]

 

i heard that gap is not bad on 00-02 neons. Only it might be more noticable on 02 bumper.

 

I just hope it wouldn't look bad with my Xenon bumper

i say paint it to match, not too much of a cf fan espically with your chrome rims(i think they are chrome). Hey but with the 03+ neons, will the srt-4 hood fit with no gap? Sorry to jack the thread
