Well I double checked and my sxts running a 205/50/16s still pretty wide and Im running a wide rim size so thats why I went down to a 205.
Thats not really wide at all...I ran that tire size on stock R/T wheels.

how can you fit 215-50-16 on stock suspension? the biggest is you can put is 215-45-16
also depends on the off-set of the specific rim....

what's the off-set of yer rims, airw...?

Either 16x8s or 16x9s . Its a pretty weird offset and not many run with that off set.

It is to my ride cause shes use to running with 195/45/15s on so 205/50/16s are pretty wide to me. Im going a little wider next time around when I go up to 18s or 19s in the summer.

Huh?... maybe I'm not being clear here... and you too airwolf..

talking about the "off-set"...it's listed on most good listings for rims, even on e-bay...

I'm pretty sure I heard one time that acceptable off set's that will let a rim fit on stock Neon suspension is between 38 to 42 (with maybe the stock offset being 40?)

forgot which way is which.. maybe lower number and the rims stick further out? (will fit but look weird)...and a higher number will pull the rims in under the fenders, but you cant go too high a number, or the wheels will rub the suspension

anyone know what I'm talkin about here?

my first set of rims had the +40 offset and worked like a charm but my new rims are +38 and i needed 1/16 inch spacers in the rear cuz the tire was rubbing on the trailing arm. and my rims are 18x7.5's. the tires are 215/35/18's. so if you go that route, i would suggest a +40 or +42 offset for your rims.
