Neon: Turn Signals Rapid Blinking
I've went to a few places to find out what the problem could be and they all want to run expensive diagnostics on it.
What happens is that my turn signals blink quickly. Now that it's colder outside, the blinking fluctuates in frequency from what seems to be faster when it's colder. None of my lights are out and all of the fuses (in the interior box) are fine. When I use the turn signal, all the lights blink, just faster.
Any ideas? I'd appreciate it greatly!
**I thought I'd add that it's a 2000 Dodge Neon, if that's significant?!

usually if a light is blinking faster than normal, it means a bulb is out. but you said you checked them all and they're all good, so I really have no idea. Maybe try replacing lamps just to see if that makes it go away, maybe one is beginning to fail?
I'm skeptical about that solution, only because, like I said, the rapidity of the blinking changes with what seems to be either the amount of time/temperature of the car (or its environment) when running. Like, the warmer the car gets, the slower the lights blink.
Any other suggestions, people?!

Check your flasher.....I think it's located in the fuse box. It's a silver circular looking fuse thing. I had this happen on my 97 Ram, all the bulbs were good, but it had a bad flasher. Cheap fix. To test it, you should have seperate flashers for both the turn signals and the hazard lights, interchange them to see if that fixes your problem. Then replace the bad one.

OK, stick with me here...
Are you talking about the fuse box under the hood, or in the interior of the car?
I checked the interior fuse box (it's raining, so I haven't checked the one under the hood yet) and there were no large fuses except 1, which cut off my headlights when I removed it. Otherwise, my little fuse for the turn signals is not blown.
Any paticular fuses/fuse boxes/things I should be looking for to determine the cause? I haven't let up on the fuse theory, but I just can't find which it would be!
Appreciate it

In the car on the driver's side you'll see a little box where the fuses are. Along side of the fuses you'll see I believe a green and a black relay. One of them should be for the turn signals.
