yeah, but is it fair to say that the V6 may have more potential? I mean sure...you would have to rebuild the whole thing but it would have more torque in the end.

Not really, the 3.0 basically has zero aftermaket support, except for F/I kits that cost $5k...much more practical to put in the 2.4L in every respect. As far as torque is concened, the 2.4 is a torquey little bastard if you ask me, especially with a turbo slung on it.

With the weight of our cars i honestly believe that anything 250hp + is WAY WAY overkill because of traction.. i know that there are 450hp+ srt4s around but honestly.. i dont believe theres much need for more than 250 in a car the weight of a neon with FWD..

Thats for me tho.. the cost to go above is not worth the reward.. way easier to make better times outta other cars.. but if u want just a lil fast SOB around 250 is great (IMO)

just my $.02 tho..

i know ill prolly get flammed but for me its what i feel.. i mean i would never turn down a 450 hp neon or anything but to build one up nothing above 250 for me (haha im sitting at like 125whp if im lucky..lol)..

Now if u make a AWD drivetrain then damn straight hit 1k HP
