Think its possible to cram a V6 into a Neon? I'd love to find a wrecked Avenger R/T with the 3.5 V6 with 265hp and cram that engine into my neon. Ok maybe thats too big of a V6. Anyone think a V6 swap is possible? It sure would be a fun project.

 

Chysler doesn't have a v6 that small, that would fit transversally mounted.
Unless you go to another manufacturer, the answer is no.

 

i know someone who swapped a grandprix gtp motor into a small 1993 grand am transverse mounted. why dont you see if that motor will work. i know its supercharged but not sure about horsepower.

Yeah anything is posible but i think people have not done a v6 because dodge came out with the srt4 engine....

 

There is the 2.7 V6. but its only 180hp.

 

I've seen two 1st Gen Neons with the craptastic 2.7L V6 crammed in them, but no 2nd Gen Neons. With enough time and money though anything will work...

 

i agree with dtjwhy put a 200hp v6 that is gonna take a lot of farication when you can put a 240hp 4 cyinder in
