Default Coolant flush

I'm gonna be doing a flush pretty soon here (warmer weather comin, finally!!!). How much of that 50/50 antifreeze will I need to fill it back up? Two bottles? More or less?

The cooling system takes 6.5 quarts of coolant, so a bit over 1.5 gallons...so if your getting the pre-dilluted stuff, you'll need two bottles with some left over at the end.

Its usually every 5 years or 100,000 miles, but I've done mine every third oil change (~15,000-20,000 miles) since I got the car.

DO A COOLANT FLUSH AT LEAST 1-2/YEAR

our radiators are aluminum and coolant corrodes aluminum. if you dont do it often, it will wear right through the barrier between your engine coolant and Trans fluid.... which is not a pretty thing to happen. trust me... my wallet will be hurting for awhile...

well i'll get it done within the next few oil changes. Gotta figue out the stalling problem first. Hopefully it doesn't happen again then no problem.

come on, there is a reason why our coolant costs almost 20 bucks a gallon. there is a special additive for non corrosion that lets it go for 100,000 miles before it needs to be changed. im gonna wait till my car hits close to 100k before i do mine. unless you overheated or blew a hose or something.
