hi am looking at doing all my gagues in red has any one done it before and if so no's how many bulbs/leds i will needand what kind of bulb or leds i will need and a good place to get them from would be a great help

 

I used the red bulbs and they sucked ***. They weren't nearly bright enough. But if you wanna try it, you will 6-8 (if you want the turn signals red you need 8) and they need to be wide angle leds.
Or you could do what I did. *Warning: pain in the **** I pulled off the gauge layover and scraped off the green film. Then Icut out and taped red vellum (type of paper) to the layover and now they look f**kin awesome. They're bright as hell! The only issue there is you really need to pay attention to where your needles are supposed to be when the car is on before you take them off. Then put the cluster back in without the plastic cover, turn the car on and put the needles on where they were when you checked. Then you can take the cluster back out and put the plastic cover back on it.

you can get a kit on byvampdesign.com, i think it was five for mine but will be six for yours. The turn signals i didn't do , but scape the green film as ricerchick stated, and the high beam is a reg bulb too. So anywhere from 6-9 bulbs

The film will go underneath the layover. But you won't need to do both. The stock bulbs are bright enough. Thats what I'm using in this avatar pic -stock bulbs with red vellum.

 

so if i just use the film for the gauges whats the best thing to do with the cntre part
