as some of u know i am running into some money issues (arnt we all) anyway, i made the decition last night, that i will not be drivin the car this summer, or next winter... so i was trying to think of some small CHEAP projects to do while the car is out of commision that long????? i had a few ideas, and wanted to know what u all thought.....

1, i was thinking about gutting the interior, and maybe getting some new carpet, when i get some extra money.....

2, pull the block and tranny.... and detail the engine bay... maybe just shoot some gloss black onthe interfenders and fire wall... maybeshave the firewall to give it a clean look......and put the engine back in after painting both of them and checking everything else out....

3, while the block is out and maybe if i find a smokin deal on some low compression pistons, and a set of rods i could build the bottom end up?????????

4. finish the trunk and all other little things

5, get the ms hooked up

6, anything else people could think of i would like to know......

7, make a rear strut bar to go around my sterio box



i figure i get the car running by sunday i could pull it out and get some good pics of it outside my house, for this site and just for some pic frames i have layin around the house...... clean it up and cover it, drive it to my moms a few times then start the teardown process AGAIN..... any help or opinions i would greatly appricate.... just remember CHEAP projects....

I wish I could get away with not driving my car.

I live 4.5 miles from town. I could ride my bike, but where I work doesn't have a bike rack, and it would probably be stolen...

While the car is on blocks you could do a lot. Pretty much any project you want. From suspension to internal modifications. Heck, you could just get an SRT swap and spend an hour a day on it...

 

yeah, i dont have the money to do a swap, and not a fan of doin an 2.4 swap..... but i hate not being able to have the money to put it on the road, so i was kinda thinking that i might just do some small things that will make a BIG difference at shows and maybe get some good results when i open the hood NEXT YEAR

Valve covers do a LOT....

 

I'll keep a look out on what you have asked. If you are really lookin for some things to do, I would go with pull the engine and trany.. clean up the engine bay and i would clean up the trany and polish it up, then clear it.. (I saw it on a 1GN and it looked sick) close out some of the holes not being used... Finish up the MS, and get a nice mount for it, to show it off ( not sure where you are susposed to mount at) I"m not sure since I don't have one myself..
