im selling a pair of kicker cvr's, bought them new for 300 plus taxes now im selling them for 150 plus shipping.

L5s an L7s are the ****. I had two 10inch L5's for a minute. Those things kicked ***, I will never buy another sub. I am going to get one 15 inch L7 sometime in the future, thats what you should get.

Hey man.. I dont wanna scare you away from L5s or L7s but i currently have a kicker L7 in the custom kicker enclosure running off an amp at about 800watt rms @2 ohm.. have the gain set to 1-1.. so its running at 800watt rms.. and on my deck i have my sub power at 3-5 out of 15 as teh sound is too loud.. and its not a crispe sound from the sub.. If i were you i would personaly go with an alpine type X or the W7.. And with thoes the boxes built to spec are a lot smaller!

Just me $0.02 tho.. if you wanna do it go for it.. but i just wish i didn't sink the money into it.. its awesome for me (and for power ratings) but the sub doesn't sound as cripse as i would like (and i have tinkered with every setting on the amp and just cant get the sound i want).. when i had my type X 10" set it up and loved it.. same with my buddies W7 i threw in my car for a week!

just letting you know how i feel..

PS: thats with me listening to mostly rap, techno and some rock!

 

well my boys brother is sellin me the L5's and i want more knock dan these subs. so once i sell these i could just get the L5's, eaks i listlen to hip hop, rock, techno, and some bay area stuff. i heard the L5's already and they sounded clean, ima put them on craigslist

 

I have heard both W7s an X's I have owned L5s. Now, the price for an w7 an the 1000 watt mono will be like 1500$ Plus, those amps are a pain in da *** to wire. How crisp your subs hit matters to how good you tune too.
